Peppercorn Park Picton, located an hour southwest of Sydney on Razorback in Picton NSW, is the home of Peppercorn Park Picton Performance Horses, owned and operated by Peter & Leone McDonald.
Peppercorn Park Picton was purchased by Peter & Leone McDonald in 1972 and the first mares bred that year. Although initially breeding Thoroughbreds temperament was the utmost attribute in selecting stock and matings.
With a strong band of Thoroughbreds mares established selected lines of the Foundation Nez Perce Appaloosa, Arabian and Warmblood have been infused. The majority of progeny now born at Peppercorn will be 50% Thoroughbred, 25% Warmblood and 25% Appaloosa with some Arabian blood still but in a minority. Resulting in competition horses with brilliant temperaments that have been successful in Eventing, Showjumping, Dressage, Youth/Adult Riding Classes and of course Pleasure Riding.
Glorious views, bridle trails, 1600m grass canter track and two hill canters. Bridle Trails also have facilities for cross country school at the lower levels.
Indoor arena with Olympic standard surface imported from Germany. Outdoors Viscoride™ dressage and showjumping arenas.
Regular clinics with dressage instructor Jose Mendez and various other instructors.
